The Investigation Division is
responsible for investigating unresolved criminal
incidents reported to the Springdale Police Department.
This division also processes crime scenes, collects
evidence, and processes/serves criminal warrants. They are
responsible for sending missing person’s information to
SLED to activate the Amber Alert System.
Additionally, the unit is tasked with
providing crime prevention information and assistance to
the community. Crime prevention begins with the individual
and it is simple to implement. Everyone can be involved in
preventing crime. Crime prevention occurs on different
levels-personal and community. Individuals can prevent
crime against themselves by being observant and cautious
with sensitive information. Crime can be prevented in our
communities by individuals being active in the community
and its programs. Community crime can be prevented by
neighbors watching neighbors and reporting anything
suspicious to the police. With this in mind, should you
