| One of the
many goals of the Springdale Police Department is to
keep your children safe from school violence. To help
achieve that goal, we now have a full-time “School
Assistance Officer” at Springdale Elementary School.
This officer’s
purpose is to prevent crime and promote education. The
easiest way for this to be achieved is to be part of
your children’s lives on a daily basis while they
attend school. The School Assistance Officer’s main
goal is to encourage positive behavior by enhancing
the self-discipline of each individual student.
The “School
Assistance Officer” is responsible for educational
programs to prevent violence, stop the use of drugs,
alcohol, and tobacco. The School Assistance Officer
will also attend all field trips and school functions
to assist teachers and parents.
Everyone is welcome to visit our
office at Springdale Elementary School. We have
coloring books for the children and brochures for
parents. We are looking
forward to the
school years ahead and watching your children grow.
The
Springdale Police Department is dedicated to keeping
